Privacy Policy

1. What information do we collect from you?

Varshesh Industries Pvt. Ltd. (“VIPL”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates VedicOne !!!. When you use or access VedicOne !!!, we may collect certain information about you as described below.

• Use of IP Address

When you use our Services, we track your Internet Protocol (IP) address to help identify your general location and device type, to diagnose issues with our software or services, and to help our servers recognise you and your preferences on return visits.

Web servers automatically identify your computer by the IP address assigned to it during your session. We may collect IP addresses for purposes such as reporting anonymised usage information and auditing use of the Platform. VIPL does not ordinarily link a user's IP address to their personal information — we retain a record of each session, but the user remains anonymous to us for that purpose. VIPL may use IP addresses to identify users where necessary to enforce our Terms of Use or to protect our Services, Platform, or other users.

• Use of Cookies and Server Logs

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device for record-keeping purposes. We use both session cookies and persistent cookies on VedicOne !!!. Session cookies make it easier to navigate the Platform; persistent cookies store login/session preferences so you don't have to re-enter them each visit. If you reject cookies, you can still use VedicOne !!!, but some areas may be limited. This Privacy Policy covers cookies set by VIPL only, and does not cover cookies set by any third party. Server logs capture non-identifying data such as the date/time of a visit, browser and operating system, the IP address or domain of your ISP, and the referring URL. This information helps us plan system improvements and is not used in any way that discloses your Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

• Birth Details and Query Information

To provide numerology, astrology, tarot, or vastu Services, VIPL collects birth details (such as date, time, and place of birth), the content of your queries, and any other information you choose to submit for the purpose of receiving a reading, report, or response. This information is used to generate your Output and, where you have opted for a Query Basic or Query Standard plan, is shared with the relevant Associate solely to enable them to respond to your query (see Section 5).

• Other Information

Any other information collected is based on our direct communications with you and is used only to address your specific requirements. VIPL takes adequate safeguards to keep the email address and other contact details you provide safe, and will not disclose them to third parties except as set out in this Policy.

2. What do we do with the information collected?

We collect information about you to provide you with the Services, and use it to:

• confirm your identity;

• administer your account on VedicOne !!!;

• enforce our Terms of Use and applicable policies;

• generate your Output and, where applicable, route your query to an Associate for a personalised response;

• provide personalized services and offers based on your interests;

• respond to your queries regarding our Services;

• enable you to search for information on the Platform;

• contact you regarding customer service and customer surveys;

• understand your usage of VedicOne !!! to enhance our Services and user experience;

• inform you about changes to our Services, policies, or the Platform;

• understand general usage trends to improve our products and marketing; and

• inform you about new products, services, promotions, or offers.

3. How do we keep your information safe? Security and payment information.

Your privacy matters to VIPL. VIPL implements reasonable security practices and procedures as required under Section 43A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (“SPDI Rules”), to protect information under our control against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

VIPL does not collect or store your card/payment credentials. All payment information is handled directly and securely by our third-party payment gateway partners. We do not permit our third-party service providers to use your information to market their own products or services to you directly. No technology is completely secure, and VIPL cannot guarantee the elimination of all risk, but we maintain industry-standard technical and procedural safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information involved.

4. How long do we retain your personal data, and where is it processed?

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Services to you, and to satisfy applicable legal, accounting, or regulatory requirements, consistent with the data minimisation and storage-limitation principles under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).

Personal data collected through VedicOne !!! is processed and stored on servers physically located in Mumbai, India. If VIPL transfers personal data outside India in the course of providing the Services — including for international payment processing — such transfer will be carried out in accordance with Section 16 of the DPDP Act and any applicable notification issued by the Central Government restricting transfer to specified countries or territories.

5. To whom do we disclose your information, and do we share it with third parties?

VIPL may share your information with other service providers, Associates, or partners in the event of a business transaction, or as required for legal or compliance purposes, as set out below:

• Associates

Where you use a Query Basic, Query Standard, or custom-report plan, VIPL shares the relevant birth details and query content with the Associate assigned to respond to your query, solely for the purpose of providing that response. Associates are independent practitioners engaged or empanelled by VIPL and are contractually bound to use your information only to provide the requested reading or response, and not for any other purpose.

• Service Providers

VIPL shares information with third-party service providers mainly to process payments on its behalf and to help maintain databases and infrastructure. We do not permit these third parties to use your information to market their own products or services to you directly.

• Required by Law

VIPL may disclose information where required under applicable Indian law, including under the Information Technology Act, 2000, the DPDP Act, or upon a lawful request from a competent government or law-enforcement authority.

• Enforcement of Legal Rights

VIPL may disclose information about you to government authorities or courts where necessary to establish or exercise our legal rights, or to defend against legal claims.

• VIPL's Advisors

VIPL may share information with its auditors, legal counsel, and other professional advisors, subject to standard confidentiality obligations.

6. What about linked websites?

VedicOne !!! may contain links to other websites not covered by this Privacy Policy. These links are provided solely for your convenience and do not signify that VIPL endorses, controls, or is responsible for the content or privacy practices of such websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party website you access through VedicOne !!!.

7. Can this Privacy Policy change?

VIPL may update or change this Privacy Policy from time to time, based on user feedback, operational needs, or changes in applicable law. VIPL may also change product or subscription pricing at its discretion, without prior notice, as set out in the Terms of Use.

If VIPL makes a material change to the purpose or manner in which your personal data is processed, we will notify you by posting a prominent notice on the Platform and, where required under the DPDP Act, seek fresh consent from you before the change takes effect.

8. General queries

For requests relating specifically to your personal data or a complaint about how it has been handled, please use the grievance contact in Section 12 below.

9. Your rights as a Data Principal (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023)

As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

• obtain a summary of the personal data VIPL holds about you and the processing activities carried out on it;

• request correction, completion, or updating of your personal data;

• request erasure of your personal data that is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected, subject to VIPL's legal, regulatory, or contractual retention obligations;

• access a readily understandable grievance-redressal mechanism, as set out in Section 12 below; and

• nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.

To exercise any of these rights, write to connect.appsuper@gmail.com. VIPL will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with timelines prescribed under the DPDP Act and its rules.

10. Children's data

VedicOne !!! is intended solely for use by individuals aged 18 years or older. VIPL enforces an age check at the point of registration and does not knowingly permit individuals under 18 years of age to register for or use VedicOne !!!. As a result, VIPL does not knowingly collect personal data of a child (as defined under the DPDP Act) without verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian. If VIPL nevertheless becomes aware that it has inadvertently collected a child's personal data, it will take reasonable steps to delete that data promptly.

11. Personal data breach notification

In the event of a personal data breach, VIPL will take reasonable steps to contain, assess, and remediate the breach. Where required under the DPDP Act and applicable rules, VIPL will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected Data Principals within the timeframe prescribed by law.

12. Grievance redressal

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the SPDI Rules, and the DPDP Act, VIPL maintains a grievance-redressal mechanism to address complaints and concerns relating to the processing of your personal data.

If you have a grievance regarding your personal data or its processing — including in connection with a reading or response provided by an Associate — please mail your issue to connect.appsuper@gmail.com, along with sufficient details to allow VIPL to identify and address your concern.

VIPL will endeavour to acknowledge and resolve grievances within 15–30 days, consistent with applicable Indian law.

13. Compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000

This Privacy Policy is published in accordance with Rule 4 of the SPDI Rules and Section 43A of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and is intended to constitute VIPL's published privacy policy for the purposes of that Act.

14. Limitation of liability and indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VIPL and its directors, officers, employees, and Associates shall not be personally liable for any loss, claim, or damage arising out of or in connection with the processing of personal data carried out in accordance with this Privacy Policy, except where such loss, claim, or damage arises from proven wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

The User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless VIPL, its directors, officers, employees, and Associates against any loss, damage, cost, or expense (including legal fees) arising from the User's breach of this Privacy Policy, or from personal information the User has provided being false, inaccurate, or belonging to a third party without that third party's consent.

15. Use of data for service improvement and AI model training

As set out in Clause 19 of VIPL's Terms of Use, VedicOne !!! may use anonymised and aggregated data derived from user interactions — including numerology inputs, query patterns, and platform usage — to train, fine-tune, and improve the AI and machine-learning models that power VedicOne !!!'s automated calculations and recommendations. VIPL does not share individually identifiable information with third parties for this purpose.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Privacy Policy are subject to the governing-law, jurisdiction, and dispute-resolution provisions set out in VIPL's Terms of Use for VedicOne !!!.
